Sol Dor’s oldtimer, canned cooked chickpeas. These high quality precooked chickpeas have a delicious nutty taste. They feel at home in Indian and North African cuisine. They are therefore best known for hummus and falafel. But also in Italian cuisine, they are widely used in pastas, soups and salads.
The legume is rich in fiber and protein and is suitable as a meat substitute, which often comes up in vegetarian cuisine. Chickpeas also contain folic acid.
