Nkui is a traditional sauce typical of the Bamiléké tribes. This sauce made from Nkui stems treated in hot then lukewarm water does not require any addition of fat. It is also the main meal for women who have just given birth. They must consume it for at most 30 days and fed by another specially chosen person. This dish is therefore precious for the traditions of Western Cameroon.
